 Trainers:

Colin has spent over forty years
training dogs of all breeds.
Initially he was a Police Dog Handler
spending twenty four years
on the front line.
During that time he trained
and handled four Police dogs,
all German Shepherd Dogs,
three of which represented
Essex Police in the
South East Regional Police Dog Trials.
He also qualified all these dogs
in Kennel Club Working Trials.
Colin assisted with the training
of other police dogs
and judged Police Dog Trials
for other forces on several occasions.
Since he retired fifteen years ago
Colin has successfully competed
at the highest level (TD Championship)
with his own German Shepherd
and now a black labrador, Tucker,
who also has numerous TDExs to his name
His past experiences
as a Police Dog Handler
and the years that he has spent
training dogs to be well behaved
and sociable pets
have made Colin a very knowledgeable
and understanding trainer.

Frances, Colin's wife,
occasionally helps Colin
with the training.
She has trained, handled
and qualified four dogs in
Kennel Club Working Trials,
two of them qualifying
T.D. Ex -
the highest qualification.

She is also a
very experienced teacher
as she taught swimming
to all ages for over thirty years.

Both Colin and Frances
spend many weekends
at Working Trials
where they are
not only
very experienced judges
and competitors
but also enjoy helping
in any capacity
